Here are just a few things that make our approach different than what you might be used to.

• No Yield Goal - We determine the crop's potential dynamically, so you aren't constrained by a yield goal.

• No Soil Samples - While soil samples can be used with Sentinel, they aren't necessary for it to work. We read the plants to determine what they will need next week.

• No "N Credits" - We aren't in the business of nitrogen accounting, we are in the business of N sufficiency. Don't spend time worrying about whether your legume, manure, cover crop, or irrigation water credits are accurate. We use data to correct for these credits dynamically in-season.

• No Production History - You don't need to have years of production history for Sentinel to help you. Historical data can help us make zones, but it isn't necessary to optimize your nitrogen management.

• No In-Season Sampling - You don't need to collect tissue samples or soil samples in-season for nitrogen decisions because Sentinel has you covered with imagery that isolates the impact of N on crop performance.

• Hybrid/Variety Specific - Sentinel adapts to the specific needs of the hybrid or variety you've planted instead of generalizing across all hybrids and varieties for a particular crop.

• No Hardware Installation or Upgrades - Tired of installing hardware in the field just for it to be damaged? Don't want to upgrade your machinery? With Sentinel, you don't need to install any hardware for detecting nitrogen because all of our data sources can be collected remotely. Additionally, our approach and recommendations are built to work whether you have old machinery or the latest unit, though we will admit that new units with variable rate do make things easier.

• Daily N Sufficiency Measurements - Instead of waiting several days to get results back from the lab and only collecting data sparsely throughout the season, Sentinel gives you the opportunity to track crop N status in real-time.

• Predictivity - Most other solutions using imagery are reactive. They only respond after the crop has already expressed stress. Our Sentinel methodology uses imagery to stay a week ahead of stress in the crop.
