Kelsey Swantek

Marketing & Communications Intern

Born and raised in small-town Nebraska, Kelsey has always had a love for anything agriculture. Combining that passion with her dedication to education, Kelsey earned her Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

During her time at UNL, Kelsey worked for Nebraska Extension in three different roles and contributed as a Marketing and Communications Intern for the Nebraska Women in Agriculture. She also hosted the FarmBits Podcast before transitioning into a Marketing and Communications role.

Kelsey was introduced to Sentinel Fertigation's CEO, Jackson Stansell, while working as an undergraduate research assistant. Jackson and Kelsey actually worked together researching fertigation prescription timing. Kelsey's main role was data collection - flying a series of research field sites across Nebraska to collect aerial imagery for later processing on a weekly basis.

Kelsey graduated from UNL in May and is now preparing to start an ag education and FFA program in Giltner, Nebraska.

When she's not working, you can find Kelsey following her fiance, Nathan, around the state to countless trap shoots, binge watching Netflix or spoiling her neice and nephews.
