Nebraska's Nitrogen Reduction Incentive Act provides funding to farmers who reduce their nitrogen (N) application by the lesser of 40 lb-N/ac or 15% from their baseline N application amount. Applications are accepted and funds are distributed by Nebraska's Natural Resources Districts (NRDs). Funding amounts are determined by priority areas.
Priority A - $15/ac
Priority B - $12/ac
Priority C - $10/ac
CPNRD Sensor-Based Fertigation Cost-Share

Nebraska's Central Platte Natural Resources District provides cost-share for sensor-based fertigation that can be applied to Sentinel's products. This program provides $11/ac over the course of two years for up to 2 fields (320 acres max). The program requires a 2-year commitment and 1/3 of the funding is delivered in the first year with 2/3 of the funding delivered in the second year. Applications may be submitted up to five months after the growing season for which funding is requested.

EQIP provides funding for agricultural conservation practice enhancements. It is important to remember that this program offers short-term, small-scale contracts.
To use this program for Sentinel's products, please apply for Program 590 - Nutrient Management. In Nebraska, scenario 305 - Prescriptive Nutrient Efficiency is the best scenario for N-Time. Please check your state's listings or talk to your local NRCS office for more information.
